Creole Seasoning

Ingredients:
3 tbsp paprika
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp dried oregano
1 tbsp dried basil
1 1/2 tsp dried thyme leaves
1 1/2 tsp black pepper
1 1/2 tsp white pepper
1 1/2 tsp celery seed
1 tsp cayenne pepper*
*Note: Cayenne pepper has a tendency to be quite potent. I like spicy food but if you’re not a big fan of heat, it’s better to err on the side of caution and cut this amount in half. You can always add more during the cooking process if you need more heat.
I added all ingredients to my spice grinder for purposes of combining them all together. If you don’t have a spice grinder, add everything to small Tupperware container, cover it, and shake well to combine. The best part about doing this in the Tupperware is that you now have a great way to store your creole seasoning.
